GROWING STOCK
The growing stock in the north Goa Forest Division was estimated and is given below:-

The overall
growing stock in the natural forests is 106.97 cum. per ha. It was found
85.276 cum. per ha. in the plantation areas. The growing stock was assessed
earlier by the Forest Survey of India and has been given in its report published
in 1985. As per the FSI assessment, the growing stock is 115.330 cum. per
ha. for the entire forest areas of the State of Goa.
